As of November 2025, our data shows that the Chicago Bears are searched an average of 4,229,000 times globally each month, placing them in the top 50% in our list of the most popular NFL franchises, maling them comparable in size to the Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills while giving them roughly double the search volume of teams such as the New Orleans Saints.

The Bears generate around 4.1 million searches in the United States every month; this means 97% of their traffic is domestic, one of the highest in the NFL.

How popular are the Bears across US states?
The Chicago Bears home state, Illinois is where they are most popular based on the share of search traffic for the team in the region. The adjacent states of Wisconsin and Iowa are where the team is next most popular at a rate of 35% and 31% respectively when compared with Illinois. This drop from most popular state to second and third most popular states is on the lower side for NFL sides persistence across states generally.
The state showing the least interest in the Bears is New Hampshire, which shows just 4% of the interest the top state (Illinois) does. This is also one the low side for an NFL side’s state persistence.

How many fans do the Chicago Bears have outside of the US?
The international territory where the Bears are most popular is Mexico, where they are searched approximately 45,000 times each month. Next is Canada, where they gain around 35,000 searches a month.
