According to our March 2026 data across global web searches, website traffic, youtube subscribers, reddit members and instagram followers for MLB teams, the Los Angeles Dodgers rank #1 in our MLB Index for online traction, gaining 21,093,800 interactions across the platforms mentioned, giving them an approximate 13.2% share of online interest across all MLB teams.
The New York Yankees are #2, measured at 18,250,000 interactions, giving them an approximate online engagement share of 11.5% across all teams in the MLB.
The #3 biggest MLB onlne fanbase in our rankings are the New York Mets registering 10,587,300 interaction points, giving them a share of c.6.6% of online interest across every team in the league.

Which MLB side attracts the most website visits?
Our data suggests that the New York Yankees receive the most website traffic out of any MLB side as of March 2026, with approximately 3,400,000 visitors each month. In #2 is the Los Angeles Dodgers with c.3,300,000 and #3 is the Philadelphia Phillies, receiving an average of c.2,800,000 visits to their site each month.

How do MLB Team’s Digital Ecosystems Compare?
As of our March 2026 data, we found that the Detroit Tigers have the largest share of their total engagement arriving via web searches out of any team in the MLB (64%).
The Washington Nationals have the largest share of their total digital engagement arriving via website visits, accounting 37% of total interaction across their entire digital ecosystem.
The San Francisco Giants have the largets share of youtube subscribers as a percentage of their total engagement out of any MLB side, accounting for 5% of their digital ecosystem.
The Athletics have the biggest share of reddit subscribers as a total of their entire digital ecosystem, accounting for 5% of their total digital engagement.
Finally, the Miami Marlins have the highest share of instagram followers as a percentage of their total digital ecosystem, accounting for 49% of all their digital traction.

Which MLB franchise has the largest online following outside of the USA?
Based on team search queries and website traffic from outside of the US, the Toronto Blue Jays have the largest international following with a combined 4,158,500 searches and visitors outside of America. The LA Dodgers are #2 with a combined 2,571,000 and the New York Yankees #3 with 2,300,000.
