Based on worldwide search traffic data recorded at Hyperset Group, Manchester United have the highest share of total fan interest across all EPL teams, recording 28.9% of all EPL team searches across the world. Manchester City now record the second highest with 21.6%, Liverpool are 3rd with 14.2% and Arsenal 4th a 13.6% share.

While a handful of teams take up a large proportion of the total fan interest, the distribution across the EPL is more evenly distributed than leagues such as the MLS team fanshare in 2025.

Manchester City have the highest share of non-UK fan interest at just 3% of their total search interest across the world coming from the UK. In second place is Manchester United with 9%, however as demonstrated above, they enjoy a higher total volume of domestic and non domestic support.

In third place is Chelsea, with just 14% of people searching for the team name coming from the UK. Riding high on the list in 4th is West Ham with 17% of their total searches coming from the UK, although their total volume of searches is significantly less than the top 3 and other teams such as Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham.

The EPL team with the highest share of searches coming from the USA is Tottenham Hotspur, with 17% of their total searches around the world coming from the US. A key factor in this is likely to be the stadium which is the first fully compliant NFL stadium outside of the US which stages regular NFL games and raises the profile of the club in The States.

Wolverhampton Wanderers record the second biggest search share from the USA. Reasons for this include an e-sports team and also a history of involvement in US Soccer back in the 70’s to the present day. brighton and Arsenal also index high, with 9% and 8% shares respectively.
